Why not just play over the Internet? That's why it's for... and if you have a good ISP and play with your country's servers, lag won't be a problem... For example, I've been playing Armagetron (where lag is absolutely crucial and lags over 200ms make the game worthless for all) with lags of well under 20ms (against a Spanish server).

IRT Wiseman: The internet lags with Halo going through XBC* unless everyone has a T1 connection, especially with four people on a box, with four boxes. Plus it is more fun because you actually get to speak to the other team during play and that is probably the greatest part of it. Even with two boxes of four over XBC both boxes have to have a great connection.
*XBC is a tunneling program that tricks the System Link into thinking there is another XBox at the end to allow players to play online since Halo has no online option. It can also be used with other games that have system link features, and it is FREE.

And if that isnt the case already, then it will be come the release of its imminent sequel, which has no PC release date as of yet. Halo 2 will definately be worth buying an Xbox for if you enjoyed the original, or FPS's in general.

Or even if you want to get into FPSers, might as well start with the best.

Probably old news to us all by now, but a new series of Red vs Blue has started, and the first ep is great.
Also there's a really rad vid around Bungie studios. which is cool.
